Oldies butt goodies

So recently it has come to my attention that some people out there doubt that I have the most beautiful children. Of course those of you who have SEEN my kids are laughing and shaking your heads that there is ever a person who would be dumb enough to think that and not value their own life enough to go a step further and tell me that they THINK my kids may not be the most beautiful children ever....so I was going through some old pics that I LOVE and am posting them to not only prove that they are just the cutest, butt to....well no that is the only reason. They are so dang cute...How can you disagree??(trust me if you would like me to NOT egg your car, YOU WILL AGREE!!) :-) Enjoy!!
These are from when Crew was just a baby, so Jett had to be 8. Wynn was 6. Rook and Cannon were 3.

Here I am sure they are deep in thought, debating which is the greater force...the Light and the Jedi...or the dark side. ...they were big into star wars then. :-)I love this one...I am sure Rook is saying...Why would you think that I did it??
Jett and Cannon trying to get Crew happy...by mugging him and smothering him with LOVE.

Wynn was sad about something...or deep in thought, either way I LOVE this pic. I am going to blow it up and put it on his wall.
If this pic doesn't seal the deal and I am not given worlds most beautiful children award in the mail by tomorrow, I don't know what will!!!

Jett is 12!!!!!!

So I am a little behind so I better get a move on.....Here is a little about jett. Well my oldest son turned 12. I can't believe he is that old. He was given the aronic preisthood and this last sunday passed the sacrament. It was crazy to watch...although he had no run-through he did a wonderful job. Jett is an amazing boy, and even though I know it is hard being the oldest, he is a good example to his brothers. I have learned so much with Jett and continue to grow and learn as a mother. Jett keeps me on my toes and on the go. He is full of energy and has a wonderful mind. When he was little he was often in his own world pretending to be a super hero, batman, or buzz lightyear, someone saving the world. He now is often in his own world...reliving a book he just read or just making something up as he goes.
I love you Jett and want you to know what a wonderful boy you are. The possibilities are endless when you put your mind to it. You are a force to be recond with and I am proud of you.

he loves motor cycles and got to go on a ride with Grandpa Ken...He loved it.

He loved Wynn when they were little, especially cuz wynn did everything Jett wanted him to.

5 years old...looking sharp.

Jett has always loved video games and books...the two things I know will keep him busy.

Here he is with Grandpa and Grandma Pidcock after he was ordained with the preisthood.

Back in the day.....

Jett is constantly asking questions about family and loves to hear stories of his grandparents..here he is with Grandpa and Grandma Miskin.

Grandma and Grandpa Murdock.

His first Halloween...

3 years old....he loved hats...he was always wearing one.

Can't seem to just smile for the camera anymore...I think he sat better when he was 2...

He has become quite handsome...I love how good he looks here.

He is tall and thin, a lot like the Miskins...He has big hands and feet, so I hope he will continue to grow and be tall.

When I am not looking he is often helping out someone with something. He is very patient when he wants to be.

Butt I can still whip him if I need to!!!!!! I love you Jetter....Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Gary!!!!

So I have this guy that I love so much..his name is Gary. Most of you really don't know him because he is quiet, butt he is the most awesome guy I know. He is really funny and smart and is a wonderful Dad..and He loves the crap out of me!!! I always tease him that he is an old man in training, butt I love that he collects hobbies. From rock, stamp, and tshirt collecting to learning how to paint..to his Bees..He has lots of things that interest him. I love to watch the big bang theory with him, especially when they use big words and he laughs. I laugh mostly just watching him.
He is very considerate and thoughtful, He is very direct and honest, He does things to make me happy and loves to spend time with the boys. He is a hard worker and doesn't often complain...I love that there is a side to him that not many people see and I love that he loves the Lord. He has a great smile too.....I love ya Gar, Happy Birthday and I promise I won't throw you a surprise party this year...or will I??

I don't know if you can tell butt right about this time something really started to stink...I will give you five guesses to see if you can guess who it was.....(it wasn't me..and probably not Gar either).

When Rook and Cannon were born he often walked around with a front pack with one of the boys. He has always been such a great help with everything.

When Rook and Cannon were weeks old we decided to go to Navoo for a quick weekend. Real Men aren't afraid of looking a little "motherly" with the feeding and harness stuff and the bag of stuff.

As the boys get older each boy has a quality or physical trait that reminds me of Gary, in their eyes, their smiles, their laughs or their gestures..I love it!!

I love Gary with Lola, she LOVES him. He is calming to her and she loves the feeling of his scruff, and his voice. She has A LOT of him in her...she does the famous..I know you are talking to me butt I am going to ignore you til you go away....(she gets that from him!!)

He always takes time to hang with his boys. He is a good example to them and is so much fun.

Gary has always been wonderful with our babies. He changed diapers, fed and loved on each one of them. It wasn't until I had Jett, and I was able to see how much he loved Jett and was such a wonderful father that I fell in love with Gary all over again.

He has been my Guinea pig and let me do about everything I could think with his hair...he is a good sport.

He is so laid back. He doesn't let me get too wound up about stupid things and helps me calm down when I need it.

He looks GREAT in tye-dye!!!

He makes me laugh, a lot. I love you Gar, Happy Birthday!!!!!

Wynn!!!!

Wynn came to us early-ish one morning around 8 o'clock..he was pretty blue and quiet..the cord was wrapped around his neck butt he was breathing, He was Really blue and thinking about it I know the Lord was watching out for this little guy, because our family wouldn't be the same with out him. Let me tell you some of my favorite stories about my favorite 2nd son: Wynn loves to dance and loves music. He has a great voice and a knack for music.

Wynn is very intelligent and should have been names "little Gary" . He has similar gestures and mannerism as his dad and I love it.

Wynn is a hard worker. Once he decides to do something there is no stopping him.. He earned enough money to buy his own zteks, in a bout a months time. He was an animal...

Wynn loves his family and is fiercely protective of them...he sticks up for them and doesn't like to see them pushed around.

Wynn is a great boy, he likes to cook and often wants to help in the kitchen. He is a pro at unloading the dishwasher and is often left in charge when Gary and I go out.

Wynn is very friendly and is very kind and considerate of others feelings. He has been a great help to me from helping with siblings to doing his chores. I love this kid more than anyone can know...except maybe his dad, who I am sure feels the same way.

Although Wynn could talk, no one really could understand him. Our friend Janet would have us over and Wynn would start saying something to her and she would look to me to interpret.. I would say he wants a cookie or a drink. One day she commented to me that it was amazing how well I could understand him. I finally told her, I didn't understand anything he was saying..I was pretty sure I was just a good guesser!!

Wynn is my most affectionate boy. He loves to be hugged. When he was little I would rub his head as he fell asleep, I can see him rubbing his own head every once in a while when he is tired.

When Wynn was 18 months old we found out that he had testicular cancer. It was one of the most frightening times in my life. The Dr's were always optimistic that it would turn out well, butt as a mother, the thought of losing your baby is daunting. He was always such a trooper and rarely cried during blood draws and ct scans.

Wynn has never been shy from attention..we were talking with a group of friends one night the power had gone out and my friend Heather was telling a story of how she was staring at a man with out his shirt on a house and ran her bike into a car...we laughed and then Wynn started to tell his story of how he saw a man with out a shirt on a house and ran his bike into a house. We laughed some more..I guess it was such a good story it needed to be repeated.

When he was about18 months I took him into a hearing specialist, he hardly spoke. She put earphones on his ears and when he would turn his head toward a sound he would see a little doggie or bird making noises in a box. The lady asked my why we came and I told her that he didn't speak and I was sure he couldn't hear..two seconds later he was turning toward the sound and the doggie went off...I heard, look mama ...cute doggie...look at the birdie...mama look... I took wynn and left..he hasn't stopped talking since.

Wynn would make the funniest faces, he would open his mouth and raise his eyebrows and make this "surprised" face. He loved to look in the mirror and smile at himself.

Wynn was often happy and smiley and had the sweetest disposition. He loved making eyes at anyone who would look his way.

When he was born he LOVED to be held and cuddled. He was such a big baby that he didn't learn to crawl til he was about 10 months...mostly because I never put him down.

Wynn has been a great blessing in our family. There is soo much more I could say about him. those of you that really know him have a better idea. I know that life would be quite a bit more boring with out him. We love you Wynn, You make our family complete!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
