Crew got a TP for Christmas and has lots and lots and lots of fun with it every time he gets it out. He is a little protective with it..it is ok for DADDY to get in...butt NOT mom! Whatever!
I got in anyway, I figured if Daddy can play so can Mommy.....yea, as you can see he is overly thrilled...so then he got out and we are all that is left.
Not a lot of room butt about the same size as our condo...pretty close anyway.
Finally he gave me the boot, butt Gary could stay. What a funny boy.....

Merry Christmas!
(just a quick dis-claimer, I know what the REAL meaning of Christmas is... we all do, butt I am just posting about our morning... And it involved presents....mostly getting, butt it was a favorite for sure! )
Merry Christmas to everyone! We had an AWESOME morning, the boys were so excited! They woke up at six and ran down stairs to find the presents. I heard Rookie say Holy smokes! Santa CAME!! (I think he may have been just a tich worried!) They waited patiently as long as they could, as patiently as they could. So we called Grandpa and Grandma and Krystal to come and join the party and the shredding began!
Cannon and Rook were really pretty good this year so Santa put a big smile on their cute little faces.
The sea of paper gets bigger and bigger, the boys got faster and faster at opening the presents. Crew almost disappeared for a while...luckily he is pretty loud and hard to loose.
I just love this pic of Cannon and his big smile. It makes it all worth it!
Crew needed a little help from Aunt Krystal getting things out of the box, he was excited to get new toys. He loved his lap top and his favorite is the vacuum that I got him.
He was perplexed that there were things in this sock and that they were things that were his and his brothers weren't trying to take them away from him. He held on pretty tight to his crayon for quite a while and then braved getting another thing out and held onto it for a while.
This was early on, the presents were still in tact, they were just excited to have things in their stockings. I can't really say how much fun it was this year. The boys were excited and they all were dying to find out what Santa had brought. Man I love these boys.
I might be a little biased butt these might be the cutest boys I have ever seen in Pjs.This was the night before , they opened their pjs and put them on. Man these boys are cute. We found them at target and I think I should have bought Gary some too. They loved them.
Here we are snuggling before bed, this was the first night in history of keller bed times that there was no yelling, no fighting, no crying.....just good boys going right to bed and falling quickly asleep. Thank heavens for Christmas nights!!!
Here Crew is opening his first present ever. He did pretty good, he just needed a little help.
Man, he is so stinkin cute, I love this picture he is so proud of himself for getting it open and loves his new pjs. He is getting so big and made this Christmas so much fun.
We had such a great Christmas and it was all because of our awesome boys. They were all so excited it made Gary and I so excited. I think I was up most the night unable to sleep because of the anticipation of seeing their reactions. Gary's parents and Krystal were able to come and spend time with us and the boys. We are feeling so blessed this year, as we have felt the Lords hand in our lives and have been blessed with good health and joy in our lives. With good friends and family that we love and are so important in our lives. We hope that everyone has a great Christmas!

Crew's first snow......
Ahh, the first real snow, the boys couldn't wait until they could go outside and get their sleds and snow boards out and play on the hill. Crew was sooo excited and kept yelling out the window at the big boys, so I took him out to play.

Ten minutes later he was ready to come in. He kept showing me his hands, I kept putting gloves on them, butt he didn't like them. I asked him if he had fun in the snow. He replied with "MEAN"!! So I am sure I have scared him for life.
Given there isn't much that can't be made better with a hot bottle of milk and a warm blanket... I guess chalk it up to snow isn't as fun as you think it is...especially when you are one and won't wear gloves.

Keller family picture 2008

Here we are in all our glory. It turned out really well considering that it was late at night and the kids were in no mood to hold any kind of "still". I love these sweaters on them, Cannon's is inside out, butt that is just how that boy rolls. Every year we take a pic and every year I look at Jett and think, he is going to be as tall as I am next year! Wynn is handsome with his blue hair and even Rook cracked a smile. I love Crew's curly hair and hope it sticks around. Gary looks good as always. Yup, that is us.

Let me show you the difference
A lot of people ask all the time, how to tell Rook and Cannon apart, as you can see from behind they look a like. (I don't think they look anything a like), butt for those of you that see them once a week, month, year...here is a couple of ways to remember:
Well for the first, Rook has green in his hair, and no his brothers didn't do it. I did, I like green, and so does he....butt here is the sure fire way to know if it is Rook or Cannon, usually you have to watch them for a bit and then you will notice....Cannon usually has a big grin on his face...and if he doesn't just say hi to him and it will usually appear with in seconds....
Rook...isn't so quick to grin..in fact he usually is trying to stare you down...
Cannon....smile....
Rook....NO smile....
Cannon....smile.....
Rook...no smile...even after I am begging.......
Finally bribery...if you smile I will give you gum..and they NEVER get gum..and this was all he could muster......
Butt don't think for one second that he doesn't smile...he does smile all the time, just know if the boy that isn't smiling even after you say hi, starts smiling...butt also notice that he is causing problems...yep that is ROOK...and just wait cuz about ten seconds after that, Jett erases the smile from his face....
So those are the rules on how to find out which is which...and don't worry, I am giving Rookie a hug right now as I am typing this. He is loved..he is cared for, and he is favored....just a little grumpy.
