I am a little late with this one, butt my oldest is just getting older way too fast. Jett is one of the greatest kids I know...one of the smartest and cutest too. When Jett was a little baby, he loved to wear hats and cowboy boots and all sorts of costumes. He wouldn't go anywhere with out his batman cape.He loved trucks and cars and tractors and motor bikes, anything with wheels. He loved to sit and turn them and watch them spin. And always wanted to know how they worked.
He loved books and still to this day can't get enough. He is constantly reading and when he was little would bring books over, as many as he could carry, and plop down in our lap and would sit there until every book was read, some a couple times over.
He never sat still for long, still to this day I have a hard time getting him in pics because he won't sit still long enough for the flash. He was my first red head and I loved him right away..even with the temper that comes from a red head.
He loves his brothers, even though they are the most annoying things around. He loves to play with them and is a great example to them.
Everything Jett does he gives it 110%. He never backed down from the big boys, he would just take a longer jump or louder yell, he tried his best to always keep up. He LOVES to rough house and still to this day will wrestle with anyone willing.
When Jett was little he wandered off from our camp..it was late at night and real dark. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me....well at least high on the list. He wandered off into another camp and went looking for me. They brought him back and he told Aunt Kay that he went off looking for his mom and found a lady and her name wasn't Teri.
Jett's favorite book was where the wild things are. He knew it front to back and wouldn't let me skip pages...he would say it along with me and would tell other people lines from it.
Jett loves the fact that we have so much history and loves to learn about his ancestors and where he came from.
Jett was such a good baby. He NEVER cried, unless he was hungry and that was always a quick fix for that.
Jett has always been a good talker, that is how we knew he was awake, we could hear him talking and that is how we knew he was asleep, because that was and is the only time he is quiet.
One day it was stormy and he was sitting on the front porch of our village green place and I heard him talking very seriousely. I said what are you doing..and he said to me..Mom I am praying to the Lord. (he was four)
Jett loves classical music, he is learning some on the piano and listens to it every night when he is going to sleep. He says it sooths him. He is very talented on the piano.
Jett always had a hat on his head. He would find whatever hat was around and put it on and wore it everywhere. He wore them usually backwards butt loved having them on.
Jett is our only kid to have actually gotten the chicken pox.
Jett LOVED his dad, they would drive all over one summer when Gary was home with him and Jett was happy to go. They would go fishing, walking, digging garnets. I always hated coming home and feeling left out of the adventure.
Jett has a strong Testimony and will be a great missionairy some day. We love him so much and our family would definatly not be the same. WE love you Jett...happy birthday!
