Christmas.....

We had a great Christmas this year, it was so nice to be in our own home doing our own thing. We had lots of fun on Christmas eve, we played games with the Elders and opened jammies..this year they got robes, way more cool than jammies, I guess...Anyway, here Rook is with a shirt that says it all: I tryed to be good butt got bored.
Here I am showing my AWESOME acting skills...can you guess what I am trying to get them to say...If you said mascara you were right, dang I am good!

Here Gary is showing off his mad skills.....I think his team may have even come close to beating my team...who am I kiddding, there is NO way they could come close...

We had a white Christmas to say the least...it snowed and blew and drifted...it was pretty though.

Here are the boys with the tree and their awesome robes...Crew didn't get one so he had a make shift rob...note to self..if you get it for one, get it for ALL..even the little ones.

picture overload!!!

So I have been taking pics, I have just been a slacker when it comes to down loading them, I am kinda an all or nothing, so since we have had nothing for soooo long, here comes the ALL...

The boys got three days off from school because of all the snow, they loved it! Even Crew, was out in i most of the day.

Here we were right before church, Cannon wanted to know why he wasn't in any pics with me, so I thought what the heck I am dressed, and showered, lets take a few...crew had to get into the action.

Here Cannon is sleeping, I hope comfortably, on our floor by our bed, for some reason these boys have never liked to sleep in their own rooms.

One with just Crew and I, he is getting soo big, I put in my extentions..wouldn't it be great if my hair was always this long.

We decided to make treats for the neighbors, rook and cannon were such good helpers! We are making truffles, here they are rolling out the middle.
Rook and crew mixing the dough for the middle, these are cookie dough truffles...they taste great!

Jett and Gary shoveling for the 100th time, they shoveled the day and afternoon and night before butt the pic below is what happend that night when they went in to go to bed...

This was even before it got REALLY windy, you couldn't see where the side walk was and the bushes were...

Wynn, rook, cannon enjoying their snow day, right before we went sledding...
Here they are in their costumes for the ward party, Jett was the narrator, Wynn a wise man, Cannon an inn keeper, Rook a shepard and Crew just needed to dress up to be a part of it all....
UGH, well that is all for now...Have a great week!

who knew?

When I look into the mirror there are things I need to say, I need to be able to look at myself and think my life's Ok... Although it isn't like the way I thought that it should be...I never thought these things would really happen to me....
Let me give you an example of things I never thought that I would do....
I will try to keep it simple and avoid talk of poo...
I never thought I would be messy and have little messy boys, I never thought I would spend a day tripping over toys. I never thought I d feel so happy when they finally went to school.. I never thought they'd hate me, because I am so cool. I kinda thought they would love me to read and sing them a song. Boy I was off on that one..I couldn't be more wrong. I never thought I would walk around picking up dirty socks..I thought that they would empty their pockets of at least the rocks.
I didn't know how hard it would be to make them wipe their bums, I didn't know what a bad idea it was to get a set of drums...(and whistles, and buzzers and anything that makes noise). never thought I would have to work so hard to make them eat polite..I never thought I would have to lose sleep to make them sleep at night.
who knew that they like to eat their boogers and if they don't they'll just wipe em on the couch..
I never ever really thought I would be such a grouch!
My throat hurts from yelling my head aches from the noise,
Who knew that I would be this way, who knew I 'd have five little boys.
Who knew I would never be lonely and there would always be a song...even if the words aren't right, you can't help butt sing along...
Who knew I would laugh at such good stories that they often tell....who knew I'd think it was funny when they tell someone to go to hell.....(yea that happened)
Who knew I 'd be so happy to clean them up from a fight, defending their little brother, even if he wasn't right...
Who knew I would be happy and feel life's little joys, who knew that I needed all 5 of these boys.

it's beginning to sound a lot like christmas...

Well I will admit it that I use the "Santa" ticket as long as I can. I really don't start til November and use it well into February..lets just say I ride that train as long as I can in good conscience. We were doing some chores and it hit me that I hadn't used that card yet with Rook, (I try to use it as a deterant, butt in this case it was a last ditch effort to get him to behave himself). So I said it, I am going to call Santa, I reached for my cell phone and started to dial, then I said it....Hello santa...Rookies eyes narrowed in disbeliefe, Hi santa, yes its me Teri Keller. I wanted to let you know that Rook just hit his baby brother...Rook's eyes widened and then I could see the panick over take him as he ran to my leg and begged and begged....I said I was sorry, I said I was sorry! Please tell santa I said I was sorry! Now the tears had come on and he was almost hysterical, so I said you know what Santa he looks pretty sorry to me, do you think you can just forgive him? What you can? Rook started to look a little hopeful as he sniffed back the tears, I said out loud, You are right Santa, Jesus said to forgive everyone and to give them a second chance, even when they fight and hit their sweet baby brother. I will santa, I will tell him..bye.
I pulled Rook over and gave him a hug and I said, You are lucky that Santa listens to what Jesus taught us, and rook said yea and I am lucky Crew didn't tell you I kicked him too.

we have decided we are adopting!!

People ask me ALL the time if we are going to have another baby, so I would like to tell all those people that we have decided that we are going to give adoption a try...so we went to our friends from the ward and asked if we could borrow their dogs sometime, so when my boys are BEGGING me for one we can just run over to her house and play with hers. in fact she has said that we could "adopt" her little dog Millie and take her when ever we wanted...so I think we have come to a perfect arrangement...as for the baby thing...Don't worry about Gar and I...we "try" on a daily basis and am sure that if we decide to have another child that when I stop taking birth control, if we want one we will have one..
Here is Millie with Wynn, she is a fun little dog..the kids love her.

Here are the boys, and the neighbor friends that went with us, and Mandy the dog...looking big and tough as usual...they love Mandy as well, she is REALLY old and is funny to watch as the kids try and make her do something she doesn't want to do.
Here is Cannon in his new duds..his Bond, James Bond duds....he likes to wear it to school and everywhere. It makes me laugh to see him walk around as a spy...
We have moved Rook's bedroom to the hallway, we just thought that his bed was WAY too soft and comfortable and knew he would LOVE his hard, cold floor...actually he was telling me he was tired and I was trying to talk him into going into HIS bed and not mine, he was rolling around on the floor telling me how mean I was and then....it got quiet. I love this kid when he is sleeping.
I was going to post these with the thanksgiving post...here is steve jamming away.
Angie rocking it out, you can't tell butt she was going crazy, she even slammed the guitar down at the end....just kidding.

Me and Lindsey were boxing and my arms STILL hurt from it, it was pretty funny, she kicked my trash...I don't know how, I am sure she cheated...she is kinda shifty. jk Gary is the master at running the hula hoop, here he is showing his mad skills....
Ohhhh, man! thats my stud!!
Here is lindsey, trying to hula hoop, you would think with having three kids she would have the hip action down pat!!!

thanksgiving day!!!

So I guess I am way behind...I can't believe it is already December. Well we have been busy, busy.. We had our first thanksgiving here at our house and invited some good friends and their kids. It was a little crazy butt all in all it was a great day.
Luckily the kids actually ate because there was a TON of food, and even more pie for dessert.

Here are the older boys acting way more mature than the little ones...ok maybe not.

Brooke, Aaron, Dave, Lyndsey, Gary and steve in the background...somewhere.

There is steve....where did Angie go?

Ahhhhhh, so cute!..even if I do say so.

Then the adults spent the afternoon/evening playing the Wii. We boxed
