Let me tell you about this day only 7 years ago....Little did I know that it WOULD be one of the happiest days of my life butt it would be the start of the most Chaos I had experienced before in my life. these little boys had the capacity for destruction like a tornadoes and still they melted my heart! Rook has always been my little firecracker, having a fiery temper and yet is so sweet, He has a sly smile that he uses to his advantage and is very witty and clever.. he loves music...all kinds and sings all the time, he is very smart and was always a little careful...
Cannon is all or NOTHING..he is sooooo LOUD and is constantly skipping around. His smile is infectious and I know he is never going to want for friends. He is very intense when he is in his all mode. He has a temper also butt it takes a little more to bring that side out. He is the night owl and often I will go down stairs when I wake up in the night and he is still up. He sleeps in late, which I love...except when I have to get him up for school.., he is very sweet and tender hearted. And is quite the ladies man!!!
A funny story about Rook and Cannon that tells you a lot about them, one day we were at the water park in Omaha and this older boy kept bugging Cannon. (Cannon is a a bunch bigger than Rook so people often think he is older than he is)..This boy kept picking on Cannon and made him cry, I was about to intervene when I saw Rook run over there and yell at the boy, throw his bucket of sand on the kid and he took off.. It was the sweetest funniest thing..until I saw the boys toothless, bra-less mother marching toward us, I grabbed the boys and off we went!
I am so grateful for these two and that they came as a two for one! They have brought so much joy and laughter into our lives..we love you guys sooooo much!!!
Happy Birthday!
