Wynn!!!!

Wynn came to us early-ish one morning around 8 o'clock..he was pretty blue and quiet..the cord was wrapped around his neck butt he was breathing, He was Really blue and thinking about it I know the Lord was watching out for this little guy, because our family wouldn't be the same with out him. Let me tell you some of my favorite stories about my favorite 2nd son: Wynn loves to dance and loves music. He has a great voice and a knack for music.

Wynn is very intelligent and should have been names "little Gary" . He has similar gestures and mannerism as his dad and I love it.

Wynn is a hard worker. Once he decides to do something there is no stopping him.. He earned enough money to buy his own zteks, in a bout a months time. He was an animal...

Wynn loves his family and is fiercely protective of them...he sticks up for them and doesn't like to see them pushed around.

Wynn is a great boy, he likes to cook and often wants to help in the kitchen. He is a pro at unloading the dishwasher and is often left in charge when Gary and I go out.

Wynn is very friendly and is very kind and considerate of others feelings. He has been a great help to me from helping with siblings to doing his chores. I love this kid more than anyone can know...except maybe his dad, who I am sure feels the same way.

Although Wynn could talk, no one really could understand him. Our friend Janet would have us over and Wynn would start saying something to her and she would look to me to interpret.. I would say he wants a cookie or a drink. One day she commented to me that it was amazing how well I could understand him. I finally told her, I didn't understand anything he was saying..I was pretty sure I was just a good guesser!!

Wynn is my most affectionate boy. He loves to be hugged. When he was little I would rub his head as he fell asleep, I can see him rubbing his own head every once in a while when he is tired.

When Wynn was 18 months old we found out that he had testicular cancer. It was one of the most frightening times in my life. The Dr's were always optimistic that it would turn out well, butt as a mother, the thought of losing your baby is daunting. He was always such a trooper and rarely cried during blood draws and ct scans.

Wynn has never been shy from attention..we were talking with a group of friends one night the power had gone out and my friend Heather was telling a story of how she was staring at a man with out his shirt on a house and ran her bike into a car...we laughed and then Wynn started to tell his story of how he saw a man with out a shirt on a house and ran his bike into a house. We laughed some more..I guess it was such a good story it needed to be repeated.

When he was about18 months I took him into a hearing specialist, he hardly spoke. She put earphones on his ears and when he would turn his head toward a sound he would see a little doggie or bird making noises in a box. The lady asked my why we came and I told her that he didn't speak and I was sure he couldn't hear..two seconds later he was turning toward the sound and the doggie went off...I heard, look mama ...cute doggie...look at the birdie...mama look... I took wynn and left..he hasn't stopped talking since.

Wynn would make the funniest faces, he would open his mouth and raise his eyebrows and make this "surprised" face. He loved to look in the mirror and smile at himself.

Wynn was often happy and smiley and had the sweetest disposition. He loved making eyes at anyone who would look his way.

When he was born he LOVED to be held and cuddled. He was such a big baby that he didn't learn to crawl til he was about 10 months...mostly because I never put him down.

Wynn has been a great blessing in our family. There is soo much more I could say about him. those of you that really know him have a better idea. I know that life would be quite a bit more boring with out him. We love you Wynn, You make our family complete!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
